We are very proud to have these event take place every year, some have been a part of Montana for over 50 years! Bozeman and the surrounding areas offer a variety of activities. No matter what the time of year something exciting is always going on. We look forward to seeing you there!

Montana Winter Fair
Gallatin County Fairground

Held in January for over 50 years the Gallatin Valley has celebrated agriculture and its impact on the community. Visit the various livestock exhibits, commercial exhibits and just eat some great homemade pie!  Come and watch the Ski Joring!



Christmas Stroll
Downtown Bozeman

The downtown area of Bozeman closes the street the first Saturday in December for an array of Christmas celebration and cheer. Vendors sell foods and crafts, musicians entertain and the community celebrates the beginning of the Christmas season.  What a way the start off the holiday season!!

During the Christmas season, the annual performance by the Montana Ballet Company is a tradition for many Bozeman families.

The symphony and symphonic choir perform throughout the winter with many guest performers.

American Indian PowWow
Montana State University

During the first week of April come see a traditional Pow Wow ceremony and events celebrating the American Indian heritage.

 Bozeman Intermountain Opera

Each spring the Intermountain Opera performs a traditional opera with guest performers for the leading roles. Several dinners and gala events usually surround the opera presentation

 Bozeman City Band
Bogart Park

Each Tuesday night for eight weeks during the summer, the Bozeman City Band performs a free concert for the city residents. The band is compromised of students, faculty and music lovers from around the Bozeman area.

 Chamber Music Festival
Montana State University

A fun workshop for those interested in playing strings, horns and piano. The recitals are open to the public.

 4th of July Celebration
July 4th

Come for the BIG BANG, An evening of entertainment for young and old alike gathering for one of the largest fireworks displays in Montana

 Taste of Bozeman
Main Street, Bozeman

Many local restaurants feature their specialties as the town closes Main Street downtown from traffic. Hundreds of guest are served banquet style on the street.

 
Sweet Pea Festival

Lindley Park

The Festival has become Bozeman's summer reunion! The celebration offers a full schedule of art, music, dance and flowers plus the Sweet Pea Run followed by a parade for all.

Montana Theater Company
Willson Auditorium

This theater company brings the community many of the great stage plays. A few of their recent performance are, Oklahoma, Dam Yankees, Annie.

 Montana Shakespeare in the Parks
Montana State University

These free summer performances are always a delight to everyone as Shakespeare is performed in a outdoors setting.


American Computer Museum

Winner of the 1994 "Dibner Award for Excellence in Exhibits of History of Technology and Culture, the American Computer Museum lets you experience the story of computers and technology in your life in a unique 4,000-year time line museum approach. Several exhibits display hundreds of historical devices from ancient Babylonian and Egyptian times through the rise of the modern computer. Admission.


Gallatin County Pioneer Museum

Inside the Museum photos and artifacts are displayed from southwest Montana's rich and varied past. A replicate 1870's cabin has been built which displays what life was like in the past pioneer days. Victors can learn about John Bozeman and his untimely death, and see artifacts of the native peoples who lived in the valley long before Lewis and Clark came through in 1805. You can also view guns, tools and automobiles from a previous age. Free admission



Museum of the Rockies

The Museum of the Rockies features various types of exhibits. Jack Horner investigation and study of the dinosaur has made the t-Rex exhibit one of the best in the country. Visit other exhibits ranging from Native American history sites, early life in the west to traveling exhibits. The Museum of the Rockies also features the Taylor Planetarium. The Planetarium is the best known through the state and produces laser shows for every taste. Admission.
